KCR To Lead Delegation To PM Modi Seeking Bharat Ratna


K Chandrasekhar Rao, the chief minister of Telangana will lead a delegation to meet and urge Prime Minister Narendra Modi to honour late PV Narasimha Rao with Bharat Ratna, the highest  civilian award of the country.
The state government also requested the Center to name Hyderabad Central University after PV Narasimha Rao (PVN Rao), issued a stamp and installed its portrait in Parliament.

The Telangana government 

will install PVN Rao's statues at Telangana Bhavan in Delhi, Vangara, Warangal, Karimnagar and Hyderabad.  The state government will build a grand memorial on PV Ganana land on Necklace Road on the lines of the one built for former President late Abdul Kalam in Rameswaram.  Establish his portrait in the state assembly.


The Telangana government will also republish his works, establish a research center after his name in Kakatiya University, name Telugu Academy after him, publish books on his life and teachings, give copies of it to all universities libraries for future generations to know about him.
The state government will also invite President Ramnath Kovind, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, former presidents and prime ministers to the national-level conclave remembering PVN Rao in centenary celebration to be held later during the year.

The Telangana government has released Rs 10 crore for the year-long centenary celebrations, a grand valedictory of the centenary with one lakh gathering on June 28, 2021.
 Compared to PVN Rao's life cuts, people in five metro cities of Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai and Bengaluru have been informed that Telangana state is celebrating PVN Rao's birth centenary.

The chief minister along with ministers, leaders of Congress, CPI, other parties, family members of PVN Rao, his followers paid rich tributes to PV Narasimha Rao on sunday for commencement of the centenary birthPV Ganana Bhoomi on Necklace Road.

In an apparent dig at the Congress for ignoring PVN Rao for a long time, the Chief Minister, speaking on the occasion, said that he did not want to be politicized from this forum about the injustice done to PV Narasimha Rao, he joined all concerned  In recognition of PVN Rao's outstanding contribution in all areas, he should be given the honor and space he deserves to fight and pressurize the Modi-led government at the Center.
